The Vail Valley Foundation today announced it has promoted Tom Boyd, Director of PR and Communications at the organization, to a new role as Director of PR & the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.
The promotion puts Boyd at the helm of the Ford Amphitheater, Vail's iconic seasonal performing arts venue, as it enters its 32nd year in operation.
"The Ford Amphitheater is one of the most cherished venues in our valley and truly an asset for our community and for all of Colorado," said Sarah Johnson, Senior Vice President of Education and the Arts for the Vail Valley Foundation, which operates the Ford Amphitheater. "Tom is someone who intimately understands the history and cultural importance of the Ford Amphitheater, and we are extremely pleased to have him representing our organization in this new role."
