MAKE A TARGETED DONATION
You can support a specific program at the VVF by making a Targeted Donation to VAIL DANCE FESTIVAL , VILAR PERFORMING ARTS CENTER or YOUTHPOWER365. The Vail Dance Festival and the Vilar Performing Arts Center have associated giving levels that come with donor benefits.
All other VVF programs are funded through VVF General Fund donations.
MAKE A STOCK GIFT
Donation of stock is one of the most tax-smart ways to give, allowing you to avoid capital gains tax. To make a stock gift, please contact the VVF at 970.777.2015 or email info@vvf.org. You must notify us prior to any stock transfer in order for us to properly identify and acknowledge your gift.
MAKE A WIRE TRANSFER
To make a donation via wire transfer, please contact the VVF at 970.777.2015 or email info@vvf.org.
SET UP A PLANNED GIFT
A planned gift is a wonderful way to leave a legacy and ensure our mission for years to come. Our Development Team can work with you to set up a planned gift, for you to leave a lasting impact in our community.
VOLUNTEER WITH US
Volunteers play a critical role in our ability to achieve our mission. To date, we have more than 1,000 active volunteers working in various capacities throughout the year. As our organization continues to grow and expand, so does our need for additional volunteer support.
If a donor is giving to VVF through an entity in which you have already received a tax-deduction, such as a Private Foundation, DAF, Charitable Trust and/or if a portion of your gift is being made through a Matching Gifts Program, there may be restrictions specific to receiving benefits. Please contact your tax-adviser if you have questions regarding your specific situation. The Vail Valley Foundation cannot knowingly facilitate a donor receiving an improper tax deduction or other benefit nor can we knowingly accept a gift that would result in impermissible private inurement or private benefit, an “excess benefit transaction” (as defined in section 4958 of the Internal Revenue Code), or self-dealing (as defined in section 4941 of the Internal Revenue Code).
