VVF’s YouthPower365 receives much-deserved recognition

Those of us who follow the daily happenings at the Vail Valley Foundation’s YouthPower365 know that there is A LOT to celebrate about the positive impact our organization has on youth and families 365 days a year in Eagle County.

Recently, the organization received two significant moments of recognition, helping put the organization in the public spotlight.

  • First place in Taste of Vail event
  • Finalist as Nonprofit of the Year

First moment of note came on April 5, 2024, when YouthPower365’s took first place at Taste of Vail!

As the Vail Daily reported:

Under the mentorship of Executive Chef Santosh Koradi of the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, the kids of YouthPower365, a program headed by the nonprofit Vail Valley Foundation, wowed the judges and guests with the most impressive creation of the day while representing 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill. The dish – juniper berries and sambuca sirloin gravlax with potato waffles, yuzu caviar and micro greens – was served with superior artistry and delivered a tantalizing array of distinct flavors in one single bite.

Finalist in VVP’s Nonprofit of the Year Award

Also, the organization as a whole was named as a finalist in the annual Vail Valley Partnershp’s Success Awards.

The organization is a finalist in quite a major category! Nonprofit of the year. YouthPower365 serves thousands of youth and families each year in the Eagle River Valley, and their work does not go unnoticed.

We are proud to be a finalist, and will know the outcome of this year’s vote on Friday, May 10th, with the awards ceremony hosted at the Riverwalk Theater in Edwards.
