There’s a lot to love about this February’s VPAC lineup

There's no better way to spend Valentine's day than at a cozy concert at the Vail Valley Foundation's Vilar Performing Arts Center, nestled at the base of Beaver Creek ... but there's a lot to love about the rest of February's performance offerings as well.

Reggae will return to the VPAC for the first time, in a long time, when SOJA and HIRIE come to the VPAC Feb. 14.

“Hosting another acclaimed Reggae artist is long overdue on the VPAC stage,” says Cameron Morgan, VPAC Executive Director.  “It's been since 2019 we enjoyed Stephen Marley and Toots & The Maytals. What better way to bring this sound back into our room than a huge night with 2 incredible Reggae bands: HIRIE & SOJA.”

Another highlight from this February is touring Organist Cameron Carpenter Feb. 4. Think about that sentence for a moment: "Touring Organist." And if you've ever been into a cathedral and heard and organ you may be thinking ... "how does one 'travel' with an ORGAN!"

The answer is that Carpenter designed and commissioned his own International Touring Organ, and to hear it in the phenomenal soundscapes of the VPAC will no doubt be as amazing as innovative as Carpenter himself.

And let's not forget Rachael & Vilray Feb. 2, Johnny Cash - The Official Concert Experience Wednesday, Feb. 7, and the Colorado Symphony featuring Conductor Eun Sun Kim and Pianis Inon Barnatan on Thursday, Feb. 8.

And that's just the beginning!
