The CLUB Program Lead | YP365

The Vail Valley Foundation (VVF) is seeking a Program Lead for its YouthPower365 CLUB Program! Join an energetic team focused on empowering the young men of the middle and high schools in the Vail Valley. A successful candidate will be detail oriented, organized, enthusiastic, innovative, and have excellent communication skills. The CLUB Program Lead must be able to relate to young men ranging in age from middle school through high school, and be bilingual in English and Spanish.


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in management and leadership
  • Experience in middle school and high school youth development
  • Background in creating curriculum with a knowledge and understanding of gender specific programming preferred
  • Ability to cultivate and sustain community relationships
  • Project management experience
  • Knowledge in operating within a set budget
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Experience working within the Hispanic community
  • Certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid Responder Training or able to complete the training upon hire

The CLUB Program Lead role is to provide oversight of the middle school boy’s program, The CLUB including curriculum creation and collaboration, budget management, mentor and program facilitator relations including recruitment, training and retention, and overall evaluation of the program. This position is a key player in building community connections and systems of supports for youth in Eagle County. The CLUB Program Lead is responsible for cultivating community relationships with all area youth-serving organizations with an emphasis on boys programming, businesses and mentors as well as possible sponsorship and funding opportunities related to the programs. A qualified candidate will have experience running youth development programs and managing teams.

  • Life skills curriculum development for gender specific programming
  • Perform supervisory functions to effectively manage personnel, including maintaining a qualified staff and communicating areas of accountability and performance
  • Budget management
  • Management of all program supplies and equipment
  • Conduct orientations and training for all mentors and program facilitators in collaboration with YP365 staff
  • Represent the VVF and YP365 to the community and aid in fundraising, marketing, public relations and communication efforts as requested
  • Attend trainings to gain further understanding of gender specific programming
  • Liaise with middle schools, high schools and youth serving organizations on behalf of YP365
  • Attendance and assistance in set up/break down at YP365 events
  • Provide translation services during meetings and place phone calls to Non-English speaking families (or arrange for the same)
  • Be an active leader in developing a positive culture and a solid working team, inspiring staff to strive to meet mission, values, vision and goals of YP365 and the VVF
  • Support organizational events and activities as appropriate, assisting wherever appropriate
  • Maintain a safe and respectful environment in all situations
  • Report program operations, updates and information to the Director of Programs
