In search of an opportunity to earn extra income and make a difference in the lives of our local youth? We are now hiring instructors for our YouthPower365 PwrHrs Afterschool Program!
Most positions are 3-7 hours per week after school running Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays – flexible scheduling available. Passion for supporting kids is a must, but experience teaching is not necessary. Our staff can work with you to determine if your past experiences working with kids will fit the position.
Schools served are from across the county – Gypsum to Vail.
- Elementary: 2:45pm – 4:30/5:00pm
- Middle: 3:30 – 5:30pm
Elementary instructors are provided a curriculum to teach an assigned group of 10-15 students. Middle school instructors can lead a “club” on any topic they find interesting! Both school levels encourage instructors to make the experience their own and dive into their creativity. Each instructor will have a Coordinator who will mentor and support them in their day to day work.
If you are a college student, a community member that wants to get involved for a few hours a day, or someone who just loves being with kids, this could be the job for you!
Compensation*:
- Licensed teachers start at $32/hr
- Unlicensed teachers start at $25/hr
*Dependent on the number of years one has worked with YouthPower365.
