K-8 Culinary Club Coordinator | YouthPower365

The K-8 Culinary Club Coordinator will design, plan, and implement a culinary afterschool club at multiple K-8 schools in Eagle County. Each cooking club includes a group of students that gather to learn to cook and bake to obtain culinary skills and to learn about the foods and traditions of other cultures. The culinary club coordinator will plan the meal each week, obtain and prepare ahead of time the ingredients, and teach students the skills necessary to assemble the meal. The result will be a fully prepared meal for students, staff, and families to join and enjoy together. A new culture and cuisine will be explored each week. The cooking lessons will include developmentally appropriate activities to tie in math, science, literacy, history, and other educational topics.
