Community Integration Coordinator | YP365

The Vail Valley Foundation (VVF) is seeking a Community Integration Coordinator to join the YouthPower365 team. This position will contribute to our Colorado Health Foundation-funded work to maintain, enhance, and improve our after-school and summer programs for youth and families in Eagle County. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrated, dual-generation services, community engagement, youth/family advocacy and leadership, and systems building.

As part of a team, the Community Integration Coordinator (CID) will research, draft, and implement equitable strategies to integrate services and expertise into YouthPower365 programs that directly address needs of children and families. This position will also work with organizational leaders to enhance or develop frameworks which also authentically engage youth and families. The goal of the CID is to improve how YouthPower365 and PwrHrs programming wraps around the children and families, who are the heart of our operations. This role is a three-year grant funded position with an anticipated termination date of December 2021.


  • Three to five years of related experience in a nonprofit or government context.
  • Hands-on experience with youth and family leadership
  • Knowledge of community systems, integration, and engagement
  • Language and passion for equity
  • Strategic planning and research skills
  • Ability to set priorities and move multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • High level problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team
  • Spanish-speaking preferred
  • Familiarity with Eagle County preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Must be able to successfully pass an extensive background check
