DESCRIPTION:<h3 class="text-orange"><strong>Friday, April 4, 2025</strong></h3> <h4 class="text-green">JUNGLE DJ SET & L'IMPÉRATRICE</h4> <h4 class="text-green">with support from AMBA</h4> <strong>ABOUT JUNGLE: </strong><b>Jungle</b> is a British band founded in 2013 by London-based <a class="mw-redirect" title="Musical production" href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Musical_production">producers</a> Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. Jungle have released four studio albums: <i>Jungle</i> (2014), which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize, <i>For Ever</i> (2018), <i>Loving in Stereo</i> (2021), and <i>Volcano</i> (2023). The first two albums were released through XL Recordings while the latter two via their independent label Caiola Records. In 2023, having worked as the main musical contributor on <i>Loving in Stereo</i> and <i>Volcano</i>, and a key performing member of the live group, Lydia Kitto joined as a permanent member. <strong><a href="https://www.junglejunglejungle.com/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">LEARN MORE ></a></strong> <span data-contrast="none"><strong>ABOUT L'IMPÉRATRICE:</strong> L'Impératrice is a French band consisting of six musicians: Charles de Boisseguin (founder, keyboards), Hagni Gwon (keyboards), David Gaugué (bass), Achille Trocellier (guitar), Tom Daveau (drums), and vocalist Flore Benguigui, who joined in 2015. They released their debut EP in 2012, followed by <em>Sonate Pacifique</em> (2014) and <em>Odyssée</em> (2015). In 2016, they won the Deezer Adami Fans' award and joined the independent label microqlima, releasing <em>Séquences</em> in 2017. Their first album, <em>Matahari</em>, came out in 2018, with notable performances across France, including La Cigale and the French National Assembly.
