Colorado only funds half-day kindergarten. In order for children in Eagle County to attend full-day public kindergarten, their families must pay tuitition to cover the 2nd half of the day. Many families in Eagle County are unable to pay this cost (44% of kindergarten students qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch) and are at risk for entering 1st academically behind their peers.

Success at Six is a partnership with Eagle County Schools that provides five levels of tuition assistance for families to afford full-day kindergarten. Scholarships are awarded based on documented financial need and extenuating circumstances.
